About Me
a brief interview
Q: How long have you been a cartoonist?
A: I started drawing cartoons as a little kid and over the next few years really started to hone my skills – particularly so during math classes.
Q: When did it become a career?
A: Well, for the past 14 years or so I’ve been working as a graphic designer and professional cartoonist. I had some of my first paying jobs when I was 10 years old. My work has been published in magazines, newsletters, books, trade publications, newspapers and on the web. I also do a bit of animation now and again and freelance as a storyboard artist.
Q: Why do you love cartoons?
A: Because they’re magical. Whether funny, cute or cuddly, they have the amazing power to make people smile just by looking at them.
Q: Awwww.
(Josh blushes.)
Q: And what are you up to now?
A: In addition to constantly drawing and selling cartoons, I am living in Manhattan and developing projects for both film and theatre.
